Brno World Superbike: Highlights (Video)

Last week, Max Biaggi discussed how Brno is one of his favorite circuits on the World Superbike calendar.

The Alitalia Aprilia rider was very victorious there, and after taking the Superbike race-two win Sunday in Brno, the Italian now has 11-career wins on the Czech track.

In Race 1, Biaggi was beat to the line by his fellow countryman Marco Melandri aboard the Yamaha Factory Racing YZF-R1. Taking the final podium postiion was the current World Superbike series’ leader, Carlos Checa (Althea Ducati 1198R).

In Race 2, again it was a battle to the line between Biaggi and Melandri, but Biaggi took this one. Checa again took third, which added to his lead.

With eight of 13 rounds completed in the 2011 WSBK Championship, Checa leads with 293 points. Biaggi is in second with 263, followed by Melandri with 240.
