AMA Hall of Fame
Motorcycle Hall of Famers, supporters, motorcycle industry leaders and fans from around the country joined the Motorcycle Hall of Fame at the Daytona 500 Club inside the Daytona International Speedway March 11
All came together at the Hall of Fame's 23rd annual Breakfast at Daytona fund-raising event to support the Hall of Fame's mission to preserve and promote motorcycling's heritage.
The event featured Hall of Famer Erik Buell, interviewed by AMA Pro Racing consultant and moto-journalist Laurel Allen. Buell spoke about his history as a racer and innovator, as well as his affection for the concept of an American-made sportbike and what the future holds for his company.
The energy in the room was heightened by the unique atmosphere of the location, just a few yards away from Daytona International Speedway's famed victory lane.
The Breakfast at Daytona featured a silent auction of unique items related to the Hall of Fame, and a dozen Hall of Fame members were in attendance who autographed commemorative posters. All proceeds support the Hall of Fame.
Jeffrey V. Heininger (Chairman of the AMHF) says: "The Hall of Fame and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation are immensely thankful for the generous support we received at this event.
"We thank everyone for coming out during Daytona Bike Week. Erik and Laurel did a great job, and hopefully encouraged all our supporters to already start looking forward to next year."
