Harley-Davidson returns for 2012 with its popular CVO Softail Convertible, a motorcycle that can be quickly reconfigured without tools from a comfortable, two-up tourer to a solo machine ready for some stylish boulevard cruising. This is possible due to detachable leather saddlebags, passenger pillion and front fairing with windshield.
And while you can change this Custom Vehicle Operations Softail from cruiser to tourer on a moment’s notice, you’ll have no problem with a speedy arrival to your location; the 2012 Harley-Davidson CVO Softail Convertible arrives stock with a Screamin’ Eagle 110 ci engine, the V-Twin producing 105 ft. lbs. of torque at 2750 rpm.
Regarding suspension, Harley says “the Softail rear suspension mimics the clean lines of a vintage hardtail frame but offers the comfort of modern suspension that is hidden under the chassis.”
For 2012, the CVO Softail arrives with three new paint schemes, improved wind protection on detachable front fairing, revamped saddlebags and a Garmin 660 with integrated MP3 Player.
