2011 Estoril GP
There were some downright scary moments at a damp Estoril circuit for Round 3 of the 2011 MotoGP Championship Sunday.
Many of the 17-rider grid’s top riders had some shaky moments, including Ducati Team’s Valentino Rossi and Yamaha Factory Racing’s Ben Spies.
But some of these scary moments turned into crashes, including the highsides by San Carlo Honda Gresini’s Marco Simoncelli and Mapfre Ducati’s Hector Barbera. Both MotoGP riders crashed out on the first of 28 laps.
