FE390, FE450, FE570S, FX450, FS570

Husaberg released information about their enduro motorcycles that are returning for 2011. Following are descriptions of each model, including any updates for 2011.

FE 390
Returning for 2011, the Husaberg FE 390 has found its place in the market and in the hearts of hardcore enduro riders. The 390 has power and excellent traction for every riding situation, yet it is not as demanding on the rider as a 450.

It matches any 250 4-stroke in terms of easy handling, and it provides way more bottom end power and torque. The easy handling chassis has been improved for 2011 with a reinforced steering head, closed cartridge forks and revised suspension settings to match. This combined with the smooth power delivery from the 390 engine make the FE 390 the first choice among amateur riders and professionals alike.

FE 450
The Husaberg FE 450 turned a lot of minds at the 2010 AMA National Enduro series. Mike Lafferty gave this bike its first national win on American soil at the famous Alligator Enduro in Florida. The FE 450’s powerful EFI equipped enduro engine and innovation chassis provides a new level of handling in this class.

The bike has not only been successful in racing, it has also received “Dirt Bike of the Year” awards in several countries. These accolades prove its outstanding performance and rideability which simply makes offroad riding more fun. New for 2011, the FE 450 is now equipped with a closed cartridge front fork in combination with a refined overall suspension setting and a reinforced steering head.

FE 570 S (S = Street Legal/Dual Sport)
The Husaberg FE 570 S has masses of torque right from the very bottom all the way up through the revs. The rideability and handling are comparable to much smaller bikes in terms of engine capacity.

It is the perfect enduro bike for fast and flowing offroad trails, gravel roads and serious rally/desert racing. For model year 2011 the reinforced steering head and the closed cartridge front fork contribute to even better stability of the bike at high speeds. In addition, the bike is now equipped as a street legal dual sport version for 2011.

FX 450
The Husaberg FX 450 is a dedicated cross country model designed for GNCC / WORCS style offroad racing. The FX features milled triple clamps holding a WP USD fork with closed-cartridge technology.

Its SOHC EFI engine is mapped for optimum performance and is mated to a specifically tuned 6-speed gearbox. With the newly reinforced steering head the FX 450 is now even better for 2011.

FS 570
New in the model line up for 2011 is the FS 570. This bike revives Husaberg’s tradition in the Supermoto segment. It is a Supermoto for everyday use out on the streets, but with only small changes it can be easily transformed into a pure racebike.

The FS 570 takes the amazing new engine concept to asphalt and defines a new level of handling and rideability for street legal Supermotos. The huge torque and power of the 570 cc engine together with the sharp handling and improved feel for the front wheel due to the reinforced steering head are a winning combination on twisty backcountry roads as well as on tight Supermoto tracks.
