Over this past weekend, many World Championship Motorcycle Racing stars were on track for charity, including MotoGP rider Marco Simoncelli, Moto2 riders Andrea Iannone and Mattia Pasini, and 125cc MotoGP riders Lorenzo Savadori and Marco Ravaioli.
But it wasn’t the typical racing these motorcycle riders are known for; the charity event was a mini-bike race at the San Mauro a Mare track in Rimini, Italy.
The Italian World Championship racers gathered at the track to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pasini Racing Team
The pocket-bike race, organized by Pasini’s father Luca, was exciting for everyone in attendance.
The man who took the victory was Iannone, with Pasini and Ravaioli on the podium.
MotoGP star Simoncelli was forced into retirement due to a technical problem on his mini-bike just three laps from the end.Google+
