Get an inside look at Ducati Team rider Nicky Hayden, as the Kentucky Kid discusses his busy schedule, personal life and overall excitement for the second Grand Prix besides Laguna in America, the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix, Round 11 of the 2010 MotoGP Championship.

Hayden, who competes on the No. 69 Ducati GP10, is currently in sixth place in the championship with 99 points. The 2006 MotoGP Champion trails Fiat Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi by three points.

Hayden’s best finish this year was fourth, a position he finished four times. At the USGP at Laguna Seca, Hayden finished in fifth.

He is one of three Americans regularly competing in MotoGP, his fellow countrymen being Monster Yamaha Tech 3 riders Ben Spies and Colin Edwards. Hayden’s brother, World Superbike rider Roger Lee Hayden, will be competing as a wildcard in Moto2 at Indy on the No. 34 Team Honda/Moriwaki machine, which is managed by the legendary Kevin Schwantz.
