The ISDE (International Six Days Enduro) is an Enduro race that last six days. It is run every year in a different country.
The race is sanction by the FIM (International Federation of Motorcycles). FIM is located in Geneva, Switzerland.
This year the race was held in Mexico, a country that has been participating in the ISDE since 1980. More than 30 countries participated with more than 530 riders competing.
The ISDE is famous because it is one of the most demanding enduro race in the world. Enduro riders travel more than 150 miles of dirt roads every day and according to the FIM regulations the motorcycle race lasts between 690 and 840 miles.
Mechanics are not allowed in the ISDE so the rider has to change tires and fix any problem with the motorcycle.
