Finally, the Milan EICMA 2010 Bike and Motorcycle Show welcomes visitors after two action-packed days dedicated exclusively to the motorcycle industry and press representatives.
Thousands of people are expected to crowd the Italian motorcycle show pavilions and it is projected that a new attendance record might be set.
Women are poised to benefit from a special promotion that provides all with a free-entry-pass for Friday. Also, all Friday motorcycle fans will enjoy the MotoLive racing program held on the EICMA outdoor course, with spectacular exhibitions by stuntmen Chris Pfeiffer an Kevin Carmichael.
Motorcycle fans also are getting ready for the celebration of the 1960 Rome Olympic Champions as well as the historical exposition dedicated to Fiorenzo Magni whose special 90th birthday will cause all motorcycling guests to toast.
A new EICMA 2010 area is devoted to motorcycle tourism that warmly appeals all those who like to ride with a special feeling for discovery and adventure. Lots of escape routes, in Italy or abroad, are ready to be explored.
Promising EICMA 2010 start-up projects have allowed EICMA to look forward with new, ambitious international motorcycle shows: EICMA President Corrado Capelli, General Director Costantino Ruggiero and their Chinese partners disclosed the new EICMA China edition scheduled from July 2-4 in 2011.
On the wake of the successful 2010 event in Beijing, running cooperation with China is bound to improve further on.
Meanwhile, Milan remains a no-limits laboratory of new ideas as “Young Designers For Mobility” exposition seems to confirm, with the better opportunity given to raising creative designers to launch innovative solutions for sustainable mobility.
Major motorcycle brands remain in the spotlight with their new jewels, competing for prestigious awards such as the GP della Pubblicita (Advertising Grand Prix): 2010 winner was BMW for sport and tourism motorbikes, while Yamaha, Ducati and Suzuki prevailed in the other categories.
