Fluidyne Powersports announces 2009 KX450F Radiators

Heat is the enemy of four-stroke engine performance and reliability.

While Kawasaki’s mighty KX450F received updated radiators for 2009, it still struggles to maintain proper coolant temperatures in less-than-optimal moto conditions. At various levels, this can lead to overheating, short-term power loss, premature oil breakdown or worse.

To keep the enemy at bay, FLUIDYNE® Powersports’ new KX450F radiators were developed to enhance low-air-flow riding conditions and provide consistent cooling in high-speed situations. Wider, deeper and more voluminous than stock, they have 22 percent more fluid capacity to significantly lower coolant temperatures and come topped with a stainless-steel radiator cap rated at 21 psi to attain a higher boiling point and prevent overheating.

In addition to keeping the big Kawi motor cool, FLUIDYNE’s® new KX450F radiators are also stronger and more durable than their OEM counterparts. Constructed from aircraft-quality aluminum, their structural improvements include thicker, 0.125" side plates, a CNC-machined billet filler neck and beaded hose connections for leak-proof sealing. These components are held together with beefy TIG welds to withstand extreme conditions and ensure crash survival.

Not only do FLUIDYNE® Powersports’ new KX450F radiators out-cool and outlast the stock units, they cost less and install in minutes, utilizing the factory mounts, hardware and protective louvers.

Winners in the 2009 Baja 500 Open Pro Motorcycle and Utility ATV classes, FLUIDYNE® Powersports radiators are built on 50 years of experience in fluid dynamics and proven around the world. Available for late-model dirt bikes, ATVs and side-by-side UTVs, they are made in the USA and sold through dealers nationwide. For more information, log on to FluidynePowersports.com.
